- Heather Meara Paterson D.JRNL. BSW. CEO HM Consulting Heather learned much within the past 10 years as Director of Communications for Digital Dog Productions assisting with media and publicity, publication of several articles and books including Treasures of Misty Mountain, Ghosts of Christmas Past and was a regular contributor for Smartimes Magazine, UK. Now she's launched HM Consulting and shines much expertise in the area of media relations and creative art. She continues promoting the latest and greatest of books including Ticket to Orbit, The Cocktail Hours, and articles written for various sports, trade and urban culture magazines. Heather is also working on writing and promoting several screenplays that she and her clients are involved in. Heather comes alive in front of the camera whether it be interviewing a celebrity or athlete or being interviewed for one of her own projects. Heather started offering media consulting because she knew that she could be of great service to clients having so much positive energy, expertise in communications, and such driven artistic vision. I have a gift in communication being able ask the right questions, give a great interview and tell a great story. My vision is to optimize others artistic talents with my own expertise of linguistic expression. My clients excel in their careers while I provide media direction and leadership promoting them and their projects in the most successful way. Heather is currently working with several authors, actors and artistic talents writing short articles and a variety of books. Together with each client, HM Consulting promotes a solid vision, distinguishing a unique brand to each project. During her career as a freelance journalist and artist, Heather produced reports and interviews of performers including Enrique Iglesias, Jimmy Fallon, and Jack Black. In front of the camera, Heather co-hosted a lifestyle show called DAYTIME and co-anchored news programs including City Magazine and First Local. She produced news packages covering political, social and socioeconomic issues. Heather continues to team up with other independent artists supplying news and entertainment production like no other. She's a natural interviewing celebrities at both Toronto International and Reel World Film Festivals.
